Automotive Industry

The international automotive and vehicle industry uses steel tubes as construction elements for a wide variety of components. Primarily, seamless or welded cold-finished precision steel tubes or processed tubular parts are used for this purpose, but there are also some typical applications for seamless hot-rolled tubes, e.g.:

Mechanical tubing, used for the mass production of hollow parts for gears, rings etc.
Axle tubes for trailers and other non-driven truck axles
Steel tubes for general applications
